A customer lapses on the exact day the Credit Tier is measured

Four customers are clearly active at the end of March. A fifth last made a qualifying purchase on 1 March. The agreement defines lapse twice, and the two definitions put her last active day on 30 March and 31 March respectively. 31 March is the day the April Credit Tier is measured.

Look at: The active customer count on 31 March, the April Credit Tier it selects, and the credits paid for a referral whose qualification period ends in April.

The readings

Published agreement reading

Preceding 30-day period

"at least $50 in the immediately preceding 30-day period" measured on 31 March looks back to 2 March, so a 1 March purchase is outside it and she is not active.

Alternative interpretation

Day after 30 consecutive days

"stops being active the day after 30 consecutive days since the most recent qualifying purchase" puts her lapse on 1 April, so she is still active on 31 March.
